Wallpaper samples

Wednesday, February 1, 2012

Recently I ordered some wallpaper samples from Cole & Son and I think I know which wallpaper I'm going to choose for the entrance to my home. I have written about it previously. There were slight colour variations which made choosing the right paper difficult using a computer screen but seeing them in person makes me feel more confident in my decision.

Can you believe it has taken me over 2 years to make a decision?

Hanging wallpaper is not too difficult and I plan on hanging it myself as I did for the study but this time, I will enlist some help because wet wallpaper can be surprisingly heavy!

Are there any patterns that you fancy from this collection?

  1. Mmmm, am smitten by the trees and the blue and white graphic one at bottom. But...all are lovely!

  2. I do love the trees but they've been absolutely done to death... i worked on a real living shoot three years ago & used that paper...

Something about the palm leaves I love to death. The slight turquoise colour of the ones on the right works so well with the dark charcoal and mustard of your pom pom flowers. I think this is definitely the most you print.

Looking forward to seeing what you choose :)

  3. I agree, the trees have been done to death, although I do still love them. My pick would be the turquoise palm leaves. You'll feel like you're on a tropical holiday every day!
