Over the next 12 days leading up to Christmas I have invited friends and people I am inspired by to share a few words. Today is Day 12.
Phoebe lives in Melbourne and has a keen eye for vintage style. She writes almost daily showcasing Melbourne fashion, tips on etiquette and documents various Australian fashion events. And her photography is beautiful.
I asked Phoebe:
What are your tips for what to wear to a corporate, casual or cocktail Christmas party?
The number one tip what ever the dress code is that you have to be comfortable. If you have heels too high, straps that won't stay put or a hem line with a mind of it's own then you won't be able to relax and have a good time. Throw alcohol into the mix and you can see where this is heading!
If you don't think you can last the night in heels then quite simply, don't wear them. There are so many pretty options for ballet flats or jewelled sandals that you can be comfortable but confidently stylish.
