My little heart. Happy second birthday.
You have grown into quite the handsome little boy. You are cheeky and smart. You make popping sounds when you blow kisses and you dance by wriggling your little bottom. You say 'See you later! See you tomorrow!' when I leave for work even though I will be straight back home afterwards and you make me laugh when you call me 'the mummy' and your auntie 'uncle dimi'.
I read somewhere that along with motherhood comes an understanding of what true love is. I understand it. I totally understand it. I love you Robert to the moon and back. Happy birthday.

I read this quote recently and it puts into words the way I feel about Motherhood "Making the decision to have a child - it's momentous. It is to decide forever to have your heart go walking outside your body". It's by Elizabeth Stone. So true.
