It has been raining almost non-stop here but the sun came out today. I wasn't brave enough to venture outdoors for too long in case it bucketed down again but with the arrival of the sun, it had me thinking of the ideal place to relax in my garden.
I already have these Adirondack chairs and the yellow floral cushion. Add to it a couple of spiral topiaries, hanging lanterns and a pagoda style umbrella and this would be my kind of perfect.
What would be your perfect outdoor space?

I've been thinking about this so much lately. I'd love a semi-enclosed area with a little nook just for me. We need a new pergola and I'd love to enclose it a bit with some cafe blinds or similar. In my nook I'd have a lovely outdoor friendly chaise so I can read al fresco...and a little table with a pretty tray for me to put my coffee and sweet treats. A gorgeous throw rug - maybe something with a wedgewood/teapot/floral type of print (can't think of the name at the mo) but definitely soft and not scratchy. Not that I've thought about it at all! :)
