The not so fashionable fashion post

Ugh. I feel as though I have been hit by a train and then a bus followed by a semi-trailer. I declare war on this cold.

I had a party to go to today and was looking forward to seeing my friends but here I am instead looking fabulous in my pink uggies and dalmatian spot pyjamas. It is bad enough that my neighbours have seen me dressed like this and now the Internet has too.

There is an important lesson to be learnt here. Do not blog when you are high on cold & flu medication.

If you don't hear from me in the next few days, please send reinforcements.

(Why not... ugg boots aka homeboots and pj's Peter Alexander)

  1. I know this may sound strange, but oil of oregano works wonders for colds. You can get it at your local health food store, and you can continue to take if after to boost your immune system. I hope you feel better soon.

  7. Poor Viv! And poor me... I feel exactly the same. Bad colds can make you feel so miserable! I'm jealous of your uggies by the way, I absolutely love pink. Wish I could look that cool when being sick! Hope you get better soon!

  8. Thank you, I'm feeling better today. It must have been one of those 24 hour colds that knock you out for a day and then you are fine.

Tonia that's a great tip, thanks! I'll try that one day.

That's funny Emma! If I had I imagine there would be a mass exodus of readers.

I've got to say it felt great to spend the day in bed even with a cold. I haven't done that for years.

  9. Glad to see you are feeling better but it is good to cuddle up with pink slippers and a dressing gown occasionally and a good book and some chocolate and some magazines ....
