I have nicknamed this wall hanging my starburst doily because it reminds me a little of each, don't you think?
I think it will look lovely hanging. I had a couple of ideas of perhaps fixing a small convex mirror in the middle or turning it into a clock (if only I knew how) but I like the way it looks as is.
Wall hanging: Target. On sale.

i really love this! this is just the thing i'm looking for right now-thanks for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteOh I love it Viv...and the name youve given it fits perfectly...I think ..as it...as a mirror..or clock..all these ideas would look fantastic...but its stunning as it..and would really brighten up any space...cant wait to see what you do with it. Hugs x
ReplyDeleteI was so tempted to buy this but it wasn't the right dimensions for my narrow hallway wall so I got the overlapping squares mirror instead (which I'm currently in the middle of painting white). It's quite stunning in person, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteLovely hanging...i think converting into a clock is a brilliant idea...with bright red hands..perhaps :)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the heads up..I would love to have a go of making it a clock for my black and white bedroom...there must be a way!!
ReplyDeletevery pretty! target is the love of my life.
ReplyDeleteI love it AS IS... so pretty!
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of turning into a clock. It's very pretty.

I was wondering what that fabric is in the pillows on your couch? It looks really lovely, and the perfect shade of blue i am searching for... Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI love it! It would look great as a clock as well, but I like it as is. I can't wait to see it up on your wall.
ReplyDeleteLove this!!!!
ReplyDeleteThat's from TARGET?! Don't get me wrong, I'm a Tar-jay freak, but that is just so gorgeous and so expensive looking. I love it!
ReplyDeletefun and fun.
ReplyDeletethanks great blog.
I love it as it is, it's beautiful. x
ReplyDeleteI was tempted to buy this when I saw it in a catalogue a few weeks back, it would be perfect to (mis)match with the wall hangings I bought for out on our deck. I love your ideas for turning it into a mirror or clock - you should do it!
ReplyDeletei don't remember how i was linked to your blog, but i alway love reading your entries! i love target's home decor. can i ask where the blue floral cushion is from? lovely!
ReplyDeleteCatherine - what a shame! It is lovely in person. I can imagine it looking good against a wallpapered wall with bits of the design peeking through.
ReplyDeletemk - I have it hanging in the living room at the moment.
Sarah & howaboutcookie - the cushion is florence broadhurst brought from Signature Prints: www.signatureprints.com.au
Lovely! I am sure wherever you put it in your magnificent home, it will look amazing. I really like the idea of putting it against a wallpapered wall! Are you going with the blue paper you previously posted on! Exciting!!

I'm hoping too but it is turning out to be more than what I budgeted for. I have some serious saving to do ;)
ReplyDeleteCool wall hanging Viv - love it.
ReplyDeleteLike everyone else, I totally fell in love with this piece! Is it available online? If so, a link would be MUCH appreciated!
ReplyDeletesooooo pretty...i wished my target had things like this...maybe they do and ive never seen it...
ReplyDeleteI second...is there a link? I must have this. Love the idea of making this into a clock.
ReplyDeleteI purchased one of these a few months ago....unfortunatly my husband hates my 'doily' with a passion so it's hanging in our rear hallway....instead of our bedroom where it was intended!
ReplyDeleteI looooved this starburst and decided i would brave target and look for one today... i ducked in .. little hope of there being one left.. and.. they DID have them.. and on sale $8.99 when i got to the register... i also bought a square piece for $13.20... I couldn't pass them up! Thank you so much for sharing your purchase!
ReplyDeleteI just came accross your blog yesterday. What a lovely home you have made. I especially love this piece. Obviously, it's no longer available at Target, but I really do need it, lol. I love the name you've given it, but do you remember what Target called it? I'd like to search eBay and the rest of the web high and low. I'm kind of obsessive like that.
