Meanwhile let's talk Christmas shopping. I know, I know it is still November! I can never manage to get my act together until the week before Christmas. Nothing can tempt me to start earlier - not the store decorations that are already out or the pre-Christmas sales. Not even my local post office that has been counting down the days to Christmas for a few months now.
When do you start your Christmas shopping or have you already started?

As a photographer we are CRAZY busy getting print and products out for others..so I get in early. Usually first week in november if not October. I am done and dusted! Two gifts for dear friends I am revisiting and will either top up or replace with something else...but. DONE! I always do it in one day. Just pick a day and get it done. 40 gifts.. all bought, ordered and shopped for. Let the wrapping begin!

My goal every year is to start my xmas shopping early and have it all done and dusted before Dec and completely avoid the Xmas chaos...but do you think I end up succeeding? Nop...I end up being one of the chaotic shoppers amongst all the chaos..urrghh
But this year...I vowed to change my ways.and so now when I am out shopping...if I see something that I think would be perfect for someone I have to shop for..I just buy it and cross them off the list...has been working so far and its nice to see the list getting shorter and shorter.

I try to start early every year but it never happens!! Oh well:(
I start from about October, or sometimes when there is such a good sale on, I think ahead, purchase and leave in my cupboard...!! Makes it so much easier then going with the BIG christmas crowds.. :-)
