I was walking past Ruby Star Traders the other day and like a magnet I was drawn in. I was like a kid in a candy store. I walked out with a collection of pretty papers - each on sale at $2 or $3 a roll. I wish I had walked out of the store with one of their inlaid bone furniture or the lounge covered in the same fabric as the bird print pillow I own. Next time, maybe?
I'm thinking of using the tiger print paper to fix up this old desk for Robert to use one day. Perhaps to cover the top of the desk or the drawers. If I don't do anything with the desk soon I fear my husband will put it out for the next council pick-up.Do you collect pretty papers? What do you use yours for?

Gosh those are GORGEOUS!!! I wish I das this shop back in London :) Can't wait to see the results!
Yes, I do collect them and try to use even the samples I order.
Last time I went berserk in a decorating store when the shop assistant gave me the scissors to cut the wallpaper samples for myself...
...that was a wrong decision for her.
Good for me though!!! :))
I think I'd be the same natienka. Lucky you!
I'm now wondering if normal paper will stick well on furniture. Maybe I should use wallpaper instead. I really like the tiger print but the paper is delicate. Don't mind me. Just thinking out loud!
I love these papers, especially drawn to the aqua ones, I like Cavalini papers, but have done nothing with them yet! Have a sweet day! x
i use decorative paper for just about anything! love that tiger print and it would be perfect for a desk!
Those are very pretty. What a great desk that is too.
I have used pretty papers for lining drawers in my bathroom cabinets. Also for framing and wrapping gifts.
Love the silver and pink papers.
I tend to collect samples of wallpaper ALOT...I go through them and them never use them..!

Love love love the hot pink and grey, it looks like it is flocked?
Have a great weekend.
ohhhhhh...I do love these. Thanks for sharing!
OMG, I finally went and got RealLiving yesterday - your house looks fabulous. Congratulations again!
Those papers are so pretty...what a fabulously, gorgeous bargain!
And yes, I do collect paper. I recently bought a pad of Cristina Re papers in A5 size, and patchworked them together in a white frame, which sits on an easel next to my dining table.
I often frame pretty paper (not very original, I know!), or mount it on a thick canvas with the sides painted in one of the colours from the pattern.
what a find - they look lovely!! you can papercraft or just add in pretty frames or use to cover mat boards within the frame to offset black and white photos...
Beach Tropic - yup! It's flocked. It's one of my faves. It reminds me a little of a Broadhurst pattern.
Rosie - thanks! xx
