Love love love (yep,
that much) the children's series Amanda of
Swish & Swanky has put together. These are some of the images Amanda has posted that have made their way into my inspiration folder. Which is your favourite?

LOVE: The lanterns

LOVE: Framing children's artwork

LOVE: Hand painted murals

LOVE: A stylish place to do homework

LOVE: Large blackboard and ABC cut-outs
Amanda has also posted some beautiful nursery tours which I'm really enjoying and today she posted
Robert's room which you can see here. I'm so honoured Amanda asked me to be involved. From both Robert and I - thank you!!

Wow, those lanterns are divine.
I love them all. The study desk and the framed art work are my faves. I think people are so brave to do their own mural. I remember reading that Ines des la Fressange allowed her children to paint on the walls and it all looked lovely but I'm too busy telling my daughter not to do that most of the time! xx
Yes I'm enjoying the kids series too, specially as I am in the midst of redecorating my daughter's room. I have my kids artwork hung with pegs on a string on my kitchen wall and I enjoy it everyday when cooking!
Robert's room is lovely, I adore that wallpaper.
LOL! When I saw that nursery tree mural in an issue of Real Living last year, I clipped it out immediately! My artistic mother-in-law came over one afternoon when I was heavily pregnant and painted one very similar... have a squiz at my interpretation at http://bubbymakesthree.blogspot.com/2009/08/ferns-nursery.html
I love those lanterns too......
xo
Loved this series too. I especially like the study desk in the last photo and that comfortable looking chair in the second last photo. Really enjoyed reading the post on your son's nursery which you have decorated so stylishly.
Gorgeous! Gorgeous! Gorgeous! I can't decide between the first three, love the lanterns, love the framed artwork and the chairs and love the owl in the tree. Ahhh.. how I'd love my little one's nursery to look like that. I'm filing this post in my inpiration folder. Thanks!
Melanie - head on over to Swish & Swanky too if you haven't already. There is a stack of inspiration for kids rooms there.
